Self arrival at the 4* hotel in Ragusa where you will find a welcome letter with all the information concerning the tour that will let you visit the most beautiful UNESCO sites of eastern Sicily and the most beloved Italian crime fiction location ‘’il Commissario Montalbano’’. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ragusa. Guided tour of the city starting from the upper town, the more modern, to reach then through the steps of ‘Santa Maria delle Scale’, Ragusa Ibla, a rich Sicilian Baroque Unesco World Heritage site. Many squares and views of Ibla have been the set of the television crime fiction ‘Montalbano’: among the places you will visit, you will recognize the main square of Vigata, the police station (last episodes), the Tavern of Don Calogero, the public gardens of Vigata, and many other location crimes solved by Montalbano. Breakfast at the hotel. Admiring the landscape (dry stone walls, farmhouses and carob trees) typical of the TV series we will arrive in Modica, built on the walls of a scenic grandeur of a quarry. Stop by the “Antica Dolceria Bonaiuto” the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily where even the seductive chocolate of Modica today, called the “food of the gods”, is prepared according to the ancient Aztec tradition, imported by the Spaniards in the ‘500. Visit of the city, another jewel of Sicilian Baroque. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon she we will continue to Scicli. Then we will continue to the Castle of Donnafugata, immersed into the magic and wonderful ragusane countryside, become famous by the novel “Il Gattopardo” by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa. Breakfast and departure for Syracuse, the most beautiful Greek colony in Sicily (UNESCO World Heritage Site). You will visit the characteristic fish market where you will find a mix of scents, smells, screams and colors. You will continue for a walk in the historic center of Ortigia where you can admire the famous Fountain of Aretusa, the splendid Cathedral, the Temple of Apollo. Free lunch and departure for Noto, one of the most famous baroque centers in Sicily (UNESCO World Heritage), notable for its beautiful cathedral recently restored after the devastating earthquake of the 1990s. Calling Stone Garden, the city is full of beautiful palaces and churches: Stop at a renowned bar to sample a granite that is among the most popular and recommended around the world. In the late afternoon I return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.


Breakfast and departure for Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. Along the road you can admire the olive groves and citrus groves typical of the territory, up to 2000 meters altitude, where you can enjoy a wonderful panorama throughout Sicily. Walking on the spectacular Craters Silvestri, small volcanic cones.
